Position Summary:

The role involves owning and contributing to Tradify’s product development and UX practice, ensuring the product experience aligns with strategy and delivers strong value. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams to understand the product roadmap, define detailed specifications, and collaborate with engineering to ship high‑quality solutions. The position suits someone who enjoys both leading and being hands‑on, with a strong focus on creating great customer experiences. Work is organized into 6‑week cycles, where you will set objectives, guide the team through design, development, and testing, and oversee release planning, launch activities, analytics tracking, and validation of experimental features.

Key outcomes:

  • Drive high‑quality user experiences by ensuring cycle teams collaborate effectively and deliver work on time to a high standard.

  • Align product development activities with business objectives, representing technical considerations and turning product vision into actionable specifications.

  • Monitor and report on new releases through feedback, user behavior insights, and adoption metrics, while overseeing product operations tooling.

  • Support experimentation and feature growth by managing A/B tests, feature flags, and implementing rich in‑app experiences to boost feature adoption.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Demonstrates strong product execution skills by writing clear, appropriately detailed specifications, thinking through complex functionality, gathering feedback proactively, and making effective trade‑off decisions to deliver high‑quality features.

  • Enhances user experience through assessment and improvement recommendations, collaboration with design to produce high‑quality UI and wireframes, and contributing to research planning, analytics, instrumentation, and post‑launch evaluation.

  • Applies a user‑centered, data‑informed approach by gathering and synthesizing user feedback from multiple channels, understanding project goals, and ensuring alignment between roadmap, team priorities, and broader product strategy.

  • Communicates and collaborates effectively - escalating blockers, seeking clarification, documenting proactively, giving and receiving feedback, supporting team operations, and maintaining a professional, growth‑oriented mindset to deliver reliable work.

Your skills and experiences might also include:  

  • Brings 5+ years’ experience across project management, business analysis, UX/product development, and design practices, with strong skills in documentation, presentation, communication, organisation, and problem‑solving.

  • Acts as a subject matter expert who can lead, coach, and contribute to delivery planning, release activities, and the creation of detailed specifications in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment.

  • Demonstrates strong people skills, independence, initiative, and the ability to collaborate effectively - while contributing new ideas and maintaining a positive, fun team culture.

  • Passionate about building meaningful products, supporting tradies, and joining a world‑class team dedicated to creating impactful, global digital solutions.
