What’s the role?
As an Associate Product Manager at Jar, you will play a critical role in defining and executing our retention roadmap. You will be responsible for building & scaling products that improve user experiences to drive retention, and solve real problems for millions of users. This is a high-impact role where you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver products that truly make a difference.
What will be your responsibilities?
- Product Retention Strategy & Execution
- Develop & identify friction points, implement data-backed product improvements & ship features to increase saver retention
- Use behavioral data to personalize user experiences and enhance product adoption
- Identify high-impact opportunities through data analysis, customer insights, and funnels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align retention initiatives
- Data Analysis & Experimentation
- Leverage analytics tools (Clevertap, Amplitude, Mixpanel) to track KPIs, uncover insights, and drive decisions
- Provide data-backed insights to support strategic decisions across growth & product teams
- Design, execute, and optimize A/B tests and growth experiments to improve conversion, retention, and revenue
- Build dashboards to monitor performance, trends, and opportunities
- Customer Acquisition & Retention
- Optimize marketing funnels, onboarding flows, and referral programs to boost acquisition
- Develop strategies to improve user retention, engagement, and lifetime value.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with marketing, design, and engineering teams to implement campaigns and initiatives
- Present insights and retention strategies to leadership, driving alignment on priorities.
What’s required from you?
- Bachelors in Engineering, Math, Statistics, or related discipline from a reputed institute
- 1-3 years of proven experience in a product/growth role with some experience in shipping solutions, or business/product analytics role in a fast-paced & data-driven environment
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in tools like Clevertap, Amplitude, Mixpanel or similar
- Familiarity with A/B testing, funnel optimization, knowledge of growth frameworks is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making
- Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
- Ability to adapt quickly, manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
