The Role

Associate Product Manager – Surgical Instrumentation (Animal Health) 

Location: Hybrid (Home-based with option to work from Sheffield, Dumfries, or Edinburgh offices)

Veterinary Instrumentation is seeking an Associate Product Manager – Surgical Instrumentation to help us build and manage a market-leading portfolio of general and orthopaedic surgical instruments.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies that drive growth, enhance our brand, and deliver value to veterinary professionals worldwide.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive surgical instrumentation product range aligned with global strategy.

  • Lead product launches and manage the full product management lifecycle.

  • Control the product assortment lifecycle from infancy to obsolescence

  • Articulate and position the Surgical Instrumentation value proposition, tailoring messaging to the relevant target audience

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Clinical Training, and Purchasing.

  • Support international expansion with tailored clinical and technical content.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance and support tender and RFP processes.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 2+ years in a product management

  • Education: Degree-level or equivalent professional qualifications.

  • Skills:

    • Strong project management and organisational skills

    • Excellent communication and copywriting abilities

    • Confident presenter with a strategic mindset

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and E-CRM systems

    • Analytical, creative, and commercially aware

    • Full, clean driver’s licence
