As an Associate Product Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of Global Blue’s data reconciliation platform and fraud prevention system. You will work closely with the Product Manager, development teams, and business stakeholders to analyze data, refine requirements, and define business logic that downstream applications rely on for transaction status and metadata interpretation. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to break down complex problems into clear, actionable items.
Your responsibilities include:
Analyze and understand the mechanics and data flows of Global Blue’s transaction systems.
Refine requirements provided by the business and document them at a detailed level for the development team.
Liaise with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and align expectations.
Define acceptance criteria, identify edge cases, and ensure business logic is clearly documented.
Check and validate the development team's outputs for accuracy, ensuring all scenarios are covered.
Collaborate regularly with teams responsible for transaction systems to stay updated on system changes and impacts.
Provide feedback and recommendations to the Product Manager by evaluating requirements based on technical and functional knowledge of transaction systems.
You have strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex problems into structured components.
You pay attention to detail and a have a methodical working style.
You have the ability to write precise and structured documentation without unnecessary complexity.
You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
You have a curious and inquisitive mindset—eager to understand how systems work and how they can be improved.
You are collaborative, able to work effectively with development, product, and business teams.
Minimum 3 years of experience in IT/software development, product ownership, business analysis, or system analysis
Strong SQL skills (able to write basic queries and interpret semi-complex ones).
Background in software development (any programming language) is a plus—not required, but an analytical developer mindset is beneficial.
Experience working with dispersed teams in a global, multicultural environment.
Ability to manage stakeholders from different technical and business areas.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Fluent in English (written and verbal).
