ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Associate Product Manager for Trade Processing will work closely with the senior product manager in having product ownership of our core clearing services related to trade processing . This role will manage the SDLC of Trade Processing including roadmap curation, Product Owner responsibilities, and end-to-end stewardship of t rade processing products and features. They will additionally ensure their products align with and exceed client , operational and regulatory commitments as agreed upon by the firm.
Duties/Responsibilities

  • Drive prioritization and requirements definition for strategic initiatives and product priorities to deliver key business outcomes .


  • Oversee multiple product management processes, establish priorities, and coordinate with teams to create schedules throughout the product life cycle


  • Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and clients


  • Collate detailed requirements and define User Stories in collaboration with internal and external customers


  • Work with the development team to deliver against these in an Agile context and to ratify proposed technical solutions, including testing new functionality


  • Prioritize requests to drive growth and maximize profitability


  • Work collaboratively with various internal and external teams to resolve dependencies


  • Interact with clients to validate demand and verify the accuracy of the planned workflows


  • Promote adoption of the completed product and provide training tools/documentation to drive successful use


  • Collaborate with other departments to build trust and understanding


  • Support Sales/Relationship Management in customer meetings and calls as a subject matter expert


Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business-related or technical field


  • Knowledge in a Fintech-related field (e.g., wealth management, custody, payments, etc.)


  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced iterative development environment.


  • Experience in engaging with customers, gathering feedback, and translating it into actionable insights for product development.


  • End-to-end SDLC Management (Software Development Life Cycle)

  • Operational knowledge of project and communications software (e.g., Slack, JIRA, Confluence, etc.)


  • Comfortable working with modern product management tools and platforms and possessing a basic understanding of software development processes.
