The Opportunity

Join a highly collaborative team building market-leading technology for the private capital markets. The Associate Product Manager role is designed for professionals with 2-4 years of front or middle office experience at a private equity or private credit firm who are interested in a career in product management. You will work directly with our GP Product Managers to build technology solutions for the challenges you've experienced firsthand, while learning the fundamentals of product development, strategy, and roadmap prioritization.

The Associate Product Manager, GP Portfolio Monitoring will report to the Product Manager, GP and work closely with Engineering, Design, Client Services, and Business Development. Fluency with private markets workflows and excellent communication skills are essential.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven, detail-oriented top performer to become directly engaged with several of the world’s most sophisticated private equity investors and produce an immediate impact within a globally-focused financial technology firm.

As the Product Manager of our GP Product, you will:

  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of our GP product strategy
  • Define, articulate, and manage business and technical requirements of new features
  • Work closely with a best-in-class Engineering team to deliver high-quality product features in a timely and efficient manner
  • Own operational aspects of product development including UAT coordination, sprint planning support, and product documentation
  • Develop a deep understanding of client use cases, and define creative solutions to automate portfolio company data collection, streamline data extraction, and simplify investor reporting
  • Engage with clients and internal teams to validate solutions and incorporate feedback into feature delivery
  • Build credibility as a subject matter expert on our GP product suite, serving as a trusted resource for Client Services, Sales, and other adjacent teams
  • Embrace and make use of cutting edge product philosophies and tools, including LLMs and prototyping platforms

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Two (2) to four (4) years of front or middle office experience at a private equity or private credit GP
  • Fluency with private equity operations, terminology, and workflows across the investment lifecycle
  • Genuine interest in technology and product management, with enthusiasm for learning a new discipline
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to engage effectively across technical and business audiences
  • Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational capabilities
  • Collaborative working style and willingness to work closely with engineering teams on technical specifications

Nice to haves:

  • Prior experience using Chronograph or similar GP portfolio monitoring platforms
  • Prior experience investing in or building tools for enterprise SaaS
  • Familiarity with SQL, APIs, or related technical concepts
