Role Summary:

In this role, the Product Manager will focus on optimizing the top of the funnel for the Saks and Saks Off Fifth websites and mobile apps. This team influences every aspect of a customer's decision to add a product to their cart, including how they arrive at the site, the content that inspires them, how they locate the product, and the information needed to make a purchase.
 

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven Product Management Experience: 2+ years of Product Management experience steering products to success!

  • Data Expertise: Everything you do is rooted in solid data analysis and informed decision-making. Expert in designing and presenting dynamic dashboards and visualizations that uncover insights and drive strategic decisions.Use data to pinpoint opportunities and tackle challenges head-on. 

  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Experience working with architects, engineers, data analysts, and UX designers at every level—from leadership to more junior levels. Expert in fostering alignment and driving products to successful completion.

  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Stellar verbal and written communicator who can influence and align teams.

  • Detail-Oriented and Driven: Passionate about customer experience, ensuring every detail shines! Flourish in a high-energy environment where you manage multiple work streams and manage priorities. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree

  • Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adoble, Tealium) is a plus.

  • Knowledge of customer and product research methodologies

  • Project management skills, coordinate with development teams to ensure that projects are completed on time and within scope.

  • Technical fluency and ability to clearly communicate user and business benefits for various technologies; comfort communicating technology concepts, trade-offs and new opportunities with team members.

  • Proven track record of delivering impactful products to a broad customer base in an agile environment.

  • Able to self-serve data needs using the current infrastructure and seek additional data resources.


 

Role Description:

  • Develop and analyze reports and dashboards to uncover insights and opportunities related to how customers decide to add items to their carts.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify pain points and opportunities to enhance the customer experience. This includes working with teams in tech, SEO, content management, growth, and merchandising.

  • Perform market research and competitive analysis to grasp customer needs, industry trends, and emerging technologies. Leverage these insights to guide product decisions and drive innovation.

  • Create roadmaps and strategies for optimizing the top of the funnel on websites and mobile apps.

  • Define requirements for new features and projects to ensure successful development and launch by the development and QA teams.

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure that products meet performance goals.

  • Foster a data-driven culture within the team and the broader product organization.
