As an Associate Product Line Manager, Veilance – Men’s you support in the creation of profitable global product line assortments for the Veilance, Men’s product category. Your contribution to our global product line, as assigned by the Senior Product Line Manager 1, supports in achieving our company goals, meeting our consumer needs, and focuses on brand opportunities to bring innovative solutions to market. In this role, you will support cross-functionally across Design and Product Development teams to bring the product vision to life through future seasonal line plans, while also partnering with Costing and Sourcing upstream and with Merchandise Planning and Allocations (MP&A) to maximize in-season sales performance.  

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

The Veilance team is made up of innovative problem solvers who thrive on collaboration. Fueled by curiosity, we take an immersive approach to understanding future needs in city environments - then design, test, and validate high-end product solutions. The Product Line Management (PLM) team is responsible for determining and delivering the right product, in the right places, at the right time, delivering product lines that support the overall Design creative direction, while driving company sales, gross margin, and inventory productivity goals, on a global scale. 

If you were an Associate Product Line Manager, Veilance – Men’s now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Supporting the development and execution of the Veilance product line strategy
  • Contributing to the creation of product briefs to align with the category strategy, seasonal story-telling focus, and brand vision, fostering collaboration with the Design and Development teams
  • Contributing to the cross-functional product creation process from concept through to guest, sharing your expert knowledge of product, market trends and guest needs
  • Supporting to achieve and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), design and production costs relative to the market and guest value proposition
  • Contributing to the management of the product lifecycle management for each model, from development to commercialization, to eventual redesign, replacement or retirement
  • Contributing to seasonal selling plans and supporting our overall strategies (grow, diminish, hold, exist, launch + sell thru vs sell-in)
  • Supporting in research and analysis of the global marketplace to identify key consumer and market insights to inform concept work and development of new products and the range
  • Supporting in the preparation of product presentations for key calendar touchpoints that inspire and deliver critical information to our internal stakeholders, ensuring successful development of seasonal assets and plans
  • Contributing to Go To Market (GTM) product knowledge and supporting on the creation of selling tools and product information for our Commercial and Brand teams
  • Upholding Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing, throughout the Arc’teryx supply chain

  • Collaborating with the Design and Development teams to contribute to a lineplan that delivers double digit sales growth, while delivering new and innovative product launches
  • Building cross-functional partnerships across the MP&A counterparts to help understand current business performance and leverage insights to guide and inform future range plans  

Are you our next Associate Product Line Manager, Veilance – Men’s?

  • You have 3+ years’ experience in the apparel, fashion or luxury product markets, in a retail, customer service, merchandising, product development, wholesale, and/or retail buying role
  • You have strong knowledge of sell through, calculating cost of goods, and the open to buy process
  • You have strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • You effectively manage your time, and you possess strong analytical, presentation and communication skills
  • You have strong leadership and teamwork skills, you are solution-oriented, and you are able to facilitate work across many different internal departments
  • You have a strong understanding of the premium technical apparel market and the outdoor industry, especially Veilance, and how its products combine technical performance with everyday urban use 
  • You have an excellent understanding of the design and development process
  • You are excellent in the use of Adobe and Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
  • You are willing and able to travel as required (trade shows, key dealer presentations, key vendor meetings, core consumer events, etc.)
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
  • You are highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
  • You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
  • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
  • You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right

Compensation:

    The salary range for this role is CAD$71,000 – CAD$93,000

This range reflects market alignment and the scope of the role. Individual pay is determined by your skills, experience, and level of responsibility.
