In this role, you will:
- Assist in developing and designing intuitive and user-centred software products under the supervision of a lead designer.
- Participate in the design process from conceptualization to final execution.
- Leverage existing product design processes to effectively move projects and tasks continuously forward.
- Contribute towards the definition of user interface design standards for the product.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners on one or more product teams.
- Help refine concepts based on feedback and user validation.
Requirements
- A degree in Design, Computer Science, or a similar field.
- 1+ years of experience in product design, or a related field.
- An understanding of typography, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.
- Familiarity with design software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and interactive prototyping tools.
- Strong in one functional area of design, while beginning to gain experience in others.
- Ability to construct basic prototypes that demonstrate feature functionality.
- Ability to articulate basic problem/solution space using documentation frameworks.
- Passionate about design and the broader digital product landscape.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative, team-based environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable with receiving feedback and iterating on work.
