We are hiring an Associate Producer, Photo & Video, to join our in-house Creative Services team. As our Associate Producer, you’ll be involved in all aspects of photo and video productions across our campuses.  This includes coordinating shoots and supporting production tasks before, during, and after each project.  You’ll also get to support Producers on more complex shoots, such as lifestyle and campaign productions.  This position also offers the opportunity to participate in creative research, competitor review, and report on findings. 

This role requires working in our Catonsville location 3-4 days per week.

Compensation: $50,000 – 53,000 per year, plus eligibility for annual bonus

How you will make an impact

  • Plan, produce, and execute every aspect of photo/video productions for campus, apartment, architectural, and headshot shoots. Lead and coordinate with on-site vendor(s), community contacts, and any post-production resources meeting aggressive deadlines and providing asset availability.

  • Accomplish all pre-production tasks including but not limited to media releases, in-person and virtual meet and greet/casting sessions, meet and greet with resident handouts, resident talent call sheets, production books, ordering resident gift cards, and packing/shipping of wardrobe and props.

  • Coordinate all post-production tasks including but not limited to creating transcripts, uploading content to relevant platforms, i.e., the Video Asset Management Solutions (VAMS), Adobe Experience Manager, Extreme Reach, etc., coordinating photo retouching, sending residents thank you notes/gift cards, and distributing surveys.

  • Contribute to the upkeep of the VAMS and Adobe Experience Manager by uploading video footage/photos, adding relevant metadata, following proper naming conventions, and ensuring all media is connected to the correct project files to organize and deliver final assets as quickly as possible following a project.

  • Actively participate in production meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project kick-off meetings, providing feedback on ideas presented by others and cultivating an atmosphere of integration and collaboration.

  • Proactively identify potential project issues, remain flexible, provide solutions, and maneuver quickly when unexpected circumstances arise during a production.

  • Travel multiple times per year for onsite productions.

What you will need

  • Minimum of 1-2  years of relevant experience and/or training in a related field. Education will be considered in lieu of experience.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and can learn other internal database programs.

  • Proficient in digital technology and the Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Proficient on both the Macintosh and PC computing platforms. 

  • Data Asset Management experience preferred
