As the Associate Producer, you will generate story ideas, respond to breaking news, cover news events, conduct interviews, make new contacts, write news stories, and edit packages. You will deliver a quality product in a fast-paced 24-hour news environment.

Write stories for TV and the internet
Cover news events including news conferences and court hearings
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
3+ years of experience in television production
Strong editorial judgment
A passion for current events
Understanding of tape-less workflow in a newsroom
Must be flexible and willing to travel, work weekends and nights, and other various shifts

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $61,000.00-72,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
