JOB SUMMARY
The Associate Procurement Specialist will process supplier orders for stock and customer specific orders, as well as maintain inventory levels and settings, and assist with resolution of associated receiving and accounting issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties as assigned.
- Process supplier orders.
- Collaborate with Product Management to maximize profit.
- Assist with escalation and resolution of critical supplier issues.
- Assist with resolution of accounting issues.
- Comply with the Company’s Quality Management System.
- Comply with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) as required.
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- And 1-2 years' relevant experience required.
- Or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related discipline
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- U.S. Person (ITAR This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). To perform the position, you must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee)
- Solid written and verbal communication.
- Solid planning and time management.
- Problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of Procurement concepts.
- Negotiation skills.
- Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Oracle experience a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to stand, sit, use computers, read, write, type, use copy machines, file paperwork, use telephones, and utilize written and oral communication to interact with clients, co-workers, and customers. Pay Range$22/Hr-$25/Hr Pay is commensurate on experience.
