Your Role:
The function is responsible for the purchasing operation of designated spend categories in Procurement for Banwol M&Q. The function is also responsible for performing related sourcing of designated spend categories, and ensures a sound category management.
Your Responsibilities:
Ensure the sound purchasing process and purchasing data management (PIR, SL, PO), and maintain vendor master data, terms and conditions in the ERP system based on input from sourcing and/or global category manager.
Efficiently execute operational day-to-day operational purchasing activities for materials and services
Responsible for implementation of global category strategy at local level and select best value supplier and supplier evaluation of designated spend categories, save purchase cost through finding appropriate procurement methodology.
Channel demand through the terms and conditions of company’s preferred and approved suppliers or catalogues
Manages supply agreements and contracts. Monitors and controls contractual agreements and clauses over entire lifecycle and minimizes exposure to contractual risks in external relationships through usage of terms and conditions aligned with legal function
Sustainable application of tool utilization along the Source-2-Pay process and identify and address payment issues or bottlenecks by streamlining payment procedures.
Lead and ensure adherence to quality Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) by performing associated deviation activities.
Engage with internal stakeholders to understand and identify supply constraints and take proactive measures to mitigate the supply issues.
Understand market trends to gain insight in procurement behaviors and acumen.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in natural science, business administration, supply chain, or a related field
Some experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or a related business function is preferred
Basic understanding of procurement processes and business operations
Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Customer-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
Good written and spoken English
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
Experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations
Experience in pharmaceuticals and healthcare, or related industries
Knowledge of sourcing, purchasing, or supplier management
Experience working in an international or multicultural environment
