We are seeking an experienced Xceptor Developer with 4+ years of relevant development experience and a strong background in Investment Banking or Financial Services environments. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting intelligent automation and reconciliation solutions using the Xceptor platform. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Operations, and Technology teams to remediate EUCs, automate high-risk manual processes, and deliver scalable, audit-compliant solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Xceptor-based automation and reconciliation solutions for Investment Banking operations, including reconciliations, data validations, and exception management.
Build and configure Recon rules, Lookups, Message Processors, File Sequencing, Translation Tables, and Intelligent Matching logic to support complex data flows.
Lead or contribute to EUC remediation initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, auditability, and operational risk reduction.
Collaborate with Business Analysts and Operations teams to gather requirements, perform impact analysis, and translate business logic into Xceptor solutions.
Support UAT, go-live, and post-production activities, including defect resolution, enhancements, and performance tuning.
Handle large-volume data processing and optimize Xceptor workflows for performance, scalability, and resilience.
Provide production support, including root cause analysis and incident resolution within SLA timelines.
Work in hybrid automation environments where Xceptor integrates with platforms such as Appian, GenAI, and data systems.
Maintain proper documentation, configuration standards, and version control for Xceptor implementations.
Required Skills and Experience:
4+ years of hands-on Xceptor development experience.
Overall experience in Financial Services or Investment Banking environments.
Strong expertise in:
Xceptor configuration and workflow development
Reconciliation and data validation processes
Exception management frameworks
Experience in handling large datasets and performance optimization.
Familiarity with SQL and data analysis.
Experience supporting UAT, production deployments, and post-production support.
Knowledge of regulatory and audit compliance requirements within banking operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working specifically within Investment Banking operations.
Familiarity with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Experience working in integrated automation ecosystems (e.g., Appian, GenAI platforms).
Exposure to EUC remediation initiatives and operational risk management frameworks.
