You’ll be at the heart of SDP booking operations, ensuring deal economics, lifecycle events and reconciliations are accurately reflected in WSO and aligned with ICG’s Investment Book of Records. The role is suited to someone who understands private credit loan activity, can interpret deal and agent documentation, and is comfortable working across Deal Teams, Fund Accounting, Reporting, TPAs and Loan Agents to maintain strong data quality, controls and operational resilience.’


Position Summary

You will be a member of the Private Markets Operations team with primary responsibility for supporting SDP booking operations and the accurate maintenance of deal economics within WSO. The team owns the end-to-end post-closing operational process for SDP activity, including new deals, add-ons, drawdowns, rollovers, rate changes, repayments, restructures, transfers, fees and other lifecycle events. The focus of this role will be to ensure SDP activity is captured accurately and on time in WSO, reconciled against relevant Third-Party administrator, agent and internal records, and supported by clear controls, procedures and stakeholder communication.


Within the team, you will work closely with Fund Accounting, Reporting, Fund & Transaction Operations, Deal Teams, external loan agents, Third-Party Administrators and other service providers to support accurate booking, break investigation, reconciliations, query resolution and continuous improvement across the SDP operating model.

 

Primary Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:


  • Ensure SDP private credit transactions and lifecycle events are captured accurately and in a timely manner in WSO.
  • Review deal tickets, agent notices, executed documentation and supporting materials to validate key commercial terms before booking activity.
  • Process and support WSO activity including new deals, add-ons, drawdowns, rollovers, rate fixes, repayments, fees, restructures, transfers, commitment updates and position closures.
  • Maintain accurate WSO records across deal, tranche, compartment, contract and portfolio levels, including aggregator and blocker structures where applicable.
  • Perform and support SDP reconciliations across positions, cash, accruals, fees and unfunded commitments, investigating breaks and driving timely resolution with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Interface with TPAs, loan agents and service providers to validate notices, resolve discrepancies and ensure WSO bookings remain consistent with external records.
  • Respond to ad hoc SDP and WSO queries from Deal Teams, Fund Accounting, Reporting, Fund & Transaction Operations and other internal stakeholders.
  • Support a strong control environment through four-eye checks, daily checklists, procedure documentation, issue tracking and escalation of non-standard or complex events.

General

  • Support continuous improvement of the SDP operating model, including booking workflows, reconciliations, controls and stakeholder hand-offs.
  • Contribute to procedure manuals, control documentation, responsibility matrices and process guidance for WSO and SDP activity.
  • Support system change, data quality and IBOR enhancement initiatives, including future operating model changes impacting WSO and downstream reporting.
  • Represent the team in internal discussions with Deal Teams, Fund Accounting, Reporting, Technology and external service providers.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual work, strengthen controls and improve transparency of SDP booking and reconciliation activity.

 

Key Requirements/ Qualifications

You will have demonstrable experience of: 


Essential

  • Strong experience in private market operations, middle office, booking operations or asset support function within Financial Services or Investment Management, ideally within private credit or buy-side investment management.
  • Practical experience using WSO or a comparable loan administration / investment book of records system.
  • Understanding of private credit loan lifecycle events, including drawdowns, rollovers, rate changes, repayments, fees, restructures, transfers, commitment changes and position closures.
  • Ability to interpret agent notices, deal tickets, loan documentation and supporting materials to validate economic terms and booking requirements.
  • Experience performing or supporting reconciliations across positions, cash, accruals, fees and unfunded commitments, including break investigation and resolution.
  • Experience working with external administrators, loan agents and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely booking of deal activity.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent English and the confidence to explain complex operational issues to non-specialists.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and operate with a strong control and risk mindset.

Desirable

  • Prior exposure to Direct Lending, private credit, structured debt or similar loan-based strategies.
  • Experience with WSO, Debtdomain, Agent portals or other loan / private markets systems.
  • Good Excel skills, including reconciliation analysis, pivot tables and working with large operational datasets.
  • Experience creating or improving procedures, controls, checklists, trackers and operating model documentation.
  • Experience of metrics, KPI reporting, trend analysis, issue logs or root-cause analysis.
  • Comfortable working in a growing team environment and contributing to scalable, standardised processes.
