Summary:
In this role, you will identify, validate, and deliver on high visibility strategic product initiatives. This role operates at the intersection of strategy, product discovery, and execution, with a focus on building internal and customer-facing software solutions for hospitals, distributors, and manufacturers. You will lead product initiatives, develop business cases, validate product-market fit, and drive rapid solution deployment in complex, data-rich environments.
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, including customer pain points, competitive dynamics, and emerging technology trends.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to deliver internal efficiencies and greater value in spend management services
- Lead end-to-end product discovery efforts, including customer interviews, hypothesis testing, and solution validation.
- Develop robust business cases for new product investments, including financial modeling, ROI analysis, and strategic alignment.
- Define and execute a product roadmap supporting the National Assessment Center, National Operations Center, and Integrated Supply Chain Services.
- Partner directly with the leaders of the national centers to shape and deliver strategic product initiatives.
- Rapidly prototype and deploy new technology-enabled solutions, including AI-driven capabilities, into production environments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, marketing, and client services to bring innovative solutions to market.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Influence and align executive stakeholders on product strategy, priorities, and investment decisions.
- Provide thought leadership to strengthen product management practices and mentor developing product managers without direct authority.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree preferred.
- 10 or more years of experience in software product management. Health care operations and/or supply chain experience preferred.
- Experience delivering AI-powered solutions generating additional value and efficiencies.
- Demonstrated experience leading product initiatives, including opportunity identification and product-market fit validation.
- Strong understanding of modern product management principles (e.g., empowered teams, continuous discovery, outcome orientation).
- Proven ability to develop and articulate business cases for new product investments.
- High level of comfort engaging directly with customers to drive discovery and validate solutions.
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing senior leaders.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with shifting priorities.
- Strong technical fluency, with the ability to collaborate deeply with engineering teams and explain complex systems clearly.

Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $135,200.00 to $236,600.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
