The Associate Principal Product Assurance Engineer is responsible for engineering-based product assurance activities supporting production, sustaining, and post‑release phases within R&D.
The role is hands-on and technically focused, working in close proximity to production environments to assure sustained product conformity to approved specifications and design intent. Responsibilities include engineering‑level verification testing, structured troubleshooting, data analysis, and technical investigation of product-related issues observed during manufacturing and sustaining.
Key challenges include resolving complex and recurring product issues under production constraints, interpreting large sets of manufacturing and product performance data, and sustaining product robustness in a regulated medical device environment, while maintaining clear alignment with established quality system roles and regulatory requirements.
