We are looking for problem solvers to help us build next-generation features, products, and services. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of engineers on microservices and event-driven architectures. You are expected to contribute to the architecture, design, and development of new features, identify technical risks and find alternate solutions to various problems. In addition, the role also demands to lead, motivate & mentor other team members with respect to technical challenges.
What you’ll be doing:
Lead a Dynamic Team: Take charge of a team of engineers, providing leadership, guidance, and support in their day-to-day activities.
Drive Architectural Decisions: Play a key role in shaping the technical direction of our SAAS-based Digital Asset Management system by influencing and making critical architectural decisions.
Contribute to Core Platform Development: Actively participate in the development of our core platform, ensuring the continuous improvement and innovation of our SAAS solution.
Expertise in AWS Cloud Services: Utilize your strong background in AWS cloud services to optimize and enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of our digital asset management system.
Proficiency in Key Technologies: Demonstrate expertise in technologies such as Redis, RabbitMQ, SQS, MongoDB, MySQL, C#, Node.js, and Vue.js to drive efficient and effective development processes.
Proficiency in Supporting Systems: Auth Provider systems (like Auth0, AzureAD), Search tools (Elasticsearch/Algolia/AWS OpenSearch etc), Log Management (ELK Stack), Alerting/Monitoring Tools (Splunk/PagerDuty/Datadog)
Manage Backend and Frontend Responsibilities: Oversee both backend and frontend aspects of the system, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality across the entire platform.
Maintain 99.95% Uptime Commitment: Focus on the reliability of our system by actively working towards and maintaining a commitment to 99.95%+ uptime, addressing any issues promptly to ensure a smooth user experience.
What we’re looking for:
9+ years of total experience.
Technical Leadership: Provide visionary leadership and mentorship, fostering team growth and collaborating on scalable solutions with cross-functional teams. Collaborate with cross-cutting concerns and identify gaps in engineering processes that can be improved from time to time.
Architecture and Design: Lead the design of microservices-based applications, implementing best practices for scalability, security, and performance.
Uphold Code and Overall System Quality: Ensure that code quality checks are well enforced on the ground. Any static quality checks for security, bugs etc stay a part of engineering processes. Ensure any cross-cutting team’s dependency is well planned as per the design and the collaboration ensures that all teams contribute to the system implementation correctly.
Development: Contribute to high-quality, testable, and scalable code development, championing Test-Driven Development (TDD) within agile methodologies.
Technology Stack: Demonstrate expertise in AWS, microservices, and a comprehensive tech stack, including Auth0, Redis, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, MySQL, C#, Node.js, Vue.js, and desktop applications.
Uptime Commitment: Collaborate for a 99.95% uptime, proactively identifying and addressing performance and reliability issues with DevOps and SRE teams.
Agile Methodology: Actively promote agile methodologies, participating in roadmap planning, and retrospective meetings for a collaborative work environment.
