The Senior Technical Consultant is responsible for the end-to-end technical delivery of IGA solutions. This role bridges the gap between high-level business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring that identity lifecycles, access controls, and compliance frameworks are automated and secure.
The consultant will lead the technical workstreams throughout the project lifecycle:
Design Architecture: Translating functional requirements into technical designs,
including data schemas, connector logic, and workflow definitions.
Implementation: Configuring and customizing the IGA platform, developing custom connectors, and orchestrating complex joiner-mover-leaver (JML) processes.
Integration: Establishing secure connections between the IGA tool and target systems (Active Directory, HRIS, Cloud Apps, Databases).
Testing & Deployment: Design and leading Testing activities) from a technical standpoint and managing the migration to production environments.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Technical Leadership - Lead code reviews, define best practices fordevelopment, and mentor junior implementation engineers.
Workflow Automation - Design and build automated provisioning/deprovisioning workflows and self-service access request portals.
Policy Management - Implement Segregation of Duties (SoD) rules, birthright access policies, and certification campaigns.
Integration Development - Develop API-based integrations (REST/SOAP) andflat-file connectors for disconnected; applications.
Troubleshooting - Act as the Tier 3 escalation point for complexsynchronization errors or system performance issues.
WHAT YOU BRING:
Platform Expertise: Minimum 5 years of experience delivery solutions with enterprise IGA tools (e.g. Saviynt, SailPoint IdentityIQ/IdentityNow, Oracle, etc.).
Programming/Scripting: Proficiency in Java, BeanShell, JavaScript, or
PowerShell for custom rule development.
Data Protocols: Strong understanding of LDAP, SQL, SCIM, JSON, and XML.
Application Integration: Experience of Integrating to mainstream Enterprise Applications e.g. SAP, SFDC, Workday, Oracle Ebus/Fusion, etc.
Security Architecture: Deep knowledge of OAuth2, SAML, and OIDC protocols.
Certifications: Professional-level certification in a major IGA platform and CISSP/CISM (desired, but not required).
