As an Associate Platform Engineer for Enterprise Services, you will support the engineering and optimization of our organization's technology infrastructure. This role focuses on Azure infrastructure and automation development using GitHub Enterprise. You will assist in implementing and maintaining Fullsteam’s Microsoft 365 ecosystem, contributing to innovation, security, and efficiency across enterprise platforms. Working with cross-functional teams, you will help align technology solutions with business objectives, supporting a scalable platform for organizational growth and digital transformation.
Primary Responsibilities:
Implementation and Deployment
Assist in data and service migration to the Collaboration Platform.
Develop automated playbooks to support operations with low error rates utilizing GitHub Enterprise.
Assist Platform Engineers in building and maintaining Azure infrastructure to support scalable and secure enterprise solutions.
Security and Compliance
Support implementation of security measures including data protection and access controls.
Assist in ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
Monitor security configurations and updates.
Performance Monitoring and Optimizations
Help Platform Engineers monitor platforms for availability and integrity.
Contribute to planning and operations of emerging cloud technologies.
Stay updated on Microsoft 365 features and assess their impact.
Collaboration and Communication
Support analysis, documentation, and solution design for Azure/M365.
Act as a liaison between IT, management, and end-users.
Develop clear documentation and standards for implemented solutions to streamline support and enhance service delivery.
Troubleshooting and Support
Provide support for complex issues in Microsoft 365.
Develop strategies for rapid problem resolution.
Assist in administering cloud-native infrastructure and applications.
Skills & Competencies:
Experience in M365 including Exchange Online, OneDrive/SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Platform and other features within the M365 ecosystem.
Experience in cloud computing and architecture, specifically Microsoft Azure.
Experience developing and maintaining automation workflows using GitHub Enterprise.
Experience in Identity & Access Management, SSO and MFA implementations using Entra ID.
Experience in Cyber Security Controls and best-practices in remote work & cloud computing environments, specifically Microsoft Defender tools.
Experience programming/scripting with any of the following languages: BASH, PowerShell, Python, Bicep.
Experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Strong team player.
Experience developing, implementing & continually improving processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of combined professional experience and education in Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or related field.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Cyber Security, or related field (4+ years of work experience in software, infrastructure automation or cloud-engineering can substitute for bachelor’s degree).
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Experience with role-based Identity and Access Management solutions in a modern cloud environment.
Experience supporting services & processes adhering to security frameworks such as NIST CSF.
Knowledge of defense-in-depth, least-privileged & secure-by-design principles.
Understanding of PCI DSS.
Experience with DevOps tooling including branching strategies, managing repositories & CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. ARM Templates, Bicep).
Experience with modern DevOps tooling (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Visual Studio Code).
Expertise in integration and API management such as RESTful APIs
Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.
