The Associate Planner supports inventory, forecasting, and stock management across the Cosmetics and Fragrance categories. This role helps ensure healthy stock levels and strong collaboration with both internal partners and external suppliers. The Associate Planner plays a key role in maintaining product availability, meeting sales targets, and optimizing inventory positions across multiple warehouses.

 

As an Associate Planner, you’ll:  

  • Forecast sales and demand at the SKU, brand, and category level using sales history, trends, and business plans.
  • Replenish inventory weekly and maintain healthy weeks of supply to minimize out‑of‑
  • Manage allocation across multiple warehouses to support balanced coverage and reduce split shipments.
  • Analyze performance to provide recommendations for range planning and budgeting.
  • Monitor aged and slow‑moving inventory and propose swaps, RTVs, or sales-driving strategies.
  • Support seasonal forecasts, annual budget input, and management reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, buyers, supply chain, marketing, etc., to ensure stock accuracy and resolve issues.
  • Balance availability targets, with EOM stock objectives to optimize inventory health.

 

Key Measurements:

  • Maintain ~95% category availability
  • Sustain correct weeks of supply by category
  • Achieve high forecast accuracy at SKU and brand levels.
  • Maintain appropriate sales-to-stock ratios.
  • Reduce overstocks to support EOM stock targets.
  • Contribute to achieving healthy outbound split across US warehouses.

What skills and experience do I need for this role? 

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in planning, forecasting, or a related analytical role (retail a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to apply logical problem‑solving.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency; SQL knowledge is a plus.
  • Clear, collaborative communicator who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proactive self‑starter with a positive attitude and passion for beauty.
