We currently have an exciting entry-level opportunity for an Associate Performance Attribution Analyst to join our Rail and Transit Systems team in Auburn - NSW.

The successful candidate will play a key role in our Rail & Transit Systems business at Auburn Maintenance Centre. You will investigate train incidents by analysing performance data and business systems data to accurately collate root causes and contributing factors to operational delays and commercial penalties. You will prepare evidence-based incident attribution reports and work closely with Through-Life-Support teams to improve operational performance. You will be required to liaise with a range of internal stakeholders and representatives of the clients.

 

Ideally, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Mechanical, Electrical Tertiary Engineering qualification or other relevant trade qualification.
  • Experience in the maintenance of complex electrical and mechanical systems, the use of PC based fault diagnostic tools, and an understanding of reliability programs in a rolling stock, asset management or heavy maintenance industry.
  • Experience working in Rail industry preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of formal engineering change processes, configuration management processes and reliability improvement processes, including failure-reporting and investigations.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance procedures.
  • Knowledge of trouble shooting procedures and methods.
  • Able to investigate technical defects and incidents to support incident attribution.
  • Able to understand commercial contract management.
