We are looking for an Associate Patient Care Coordinator in our Henderson, NV Office. An Associate Patient Care Coordinator works cooperatively with all members of the care team and supports the vision of the Positive Patient Experience (PPE), answers phones, responds appropriately and routes calls as needed, responds appropriately and timely to patients request regarding appointments or exams, reviews referrals/orders for appropriateness and scan, create, protocol, tasking, and scheduling. Schedules appointments telephonically, inbound, and outbound, schedules appointments according to scheduling guidelines, policy and procedures, department productivity and quality standards and resolves routine to moderately complex issues, refers to supervisor when appropriate.
Work hours: 7:00 am to 4:00pm Monday - Friday

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional service to all customers
  • Schedule appointments as necessary, verifying correct visit type and primary care provider
  • Responsible to greet patient and check patient in and out. Ensure demographics including insurance information are correct in EPIC and update as necessary
  • Collect appropriate co-pays and adhere to all cash handling policies
  • Responsible for waiting room management cleanliness, communicate pertinent information to patients and ensure all patients have been assisted
  • Work with back-office staff to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Resolve service issues and complaints, and defer to appropriate management or clinical personnel when necessary
  • Assist co-workers and team members with duties when requested, to include but not limited to, floating to other areas

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience of checking out patients
  • Medical Terminology
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
