Wells Fargo is seeking an Operations Processor for our Cash Vault as part of Consumer and Small Business Banking Operations. Learn more about our career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.
In this role, you will:
- Perform moderately complex operations duties in support of either a service center or department environment
- High-volume, fast-paced, deadline-oriented production environment working behind the scenes with occasional over the phone contact with customers.
- This position has strict production metrics that determine acceptable levels of performance, and require that all cash must be accounted for on the day it is received
- In this role you'll spend 100% of your time working on tasks such as Receiving, Batching, and processing Change Orders, when necessary, in our Cash Vault Operations
- Employees are on their feet all day while using specialized equipment to fulfill & receive cash and coin orders based on requests received from our branch offices and retail business customers
- Regularly receive direction from supervisor and escalate questions and issues to more experienced roles
- Work under close supervision following established procedures
- Utilize the company's internal operations to perform duties
- Coordinate projects
- Furnish information to authorized persons
- Provide guidance to all levels of employees regarding personnel policies and procedures requiring some policy interpretation
- Perform general clerical operations tasks that are routine in nature
- Receive, log, batch, and distribute work
- File, photocopy, and answer phones
- Prepare and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
- Regularly receive direction from supervisor and escalate questions and issues to more experienced roles
- Work under close supervision following established procedures
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ months of operations support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Attention to detail and accuracy skills
- 10-key numerical data entry experience
- Cash vault or cash handling experience
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
- Good communication skills
- Solid problem-solving skills
- Ability to achieve high production and quality standards
- Ability to effectively listen and elicit information
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents/reports
- Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Job Expectations:
- Training: 90 days (on the job training)
- Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm or until work is completed (requires the flexibility to work additional hours to support business needs)
- This is an open-ended schedule - you must have the ability to work additional hours as needed- there are times you may be required to work up to 16 hours until all work is competed
- Standing up to 6 to 8 hours or more
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds/ cash vault, pulling and lifting
- This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
- Starting salary: $20/hour
