Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Operations Processor. The role is responsible for investigation of payment inquiries from Global clients (internal/external) that arise due to incorrect SWIFT, Telex, FED payment instructions and/or investigation of the validity of the funds being transferred to/from Consumer Commercial clients.
In this role, you will:
- Investigates Payment related inquiries or services to clients (Financial Institutions) which includes sending SWIFT, FED WIRE and CHIPS messages, Return and Cancellation of payments, Hold funds in the General Ledger and re-effecting payments
- Corrects and creates different payment message types (SWIFT, FED WIRE, CHIPS, Telex) used by the payment parties
- Team currently supports common pools - Unable to Apply, Debit Authorization, Amendment and Cancellation pool
- Responsible for payment investigation and inquiries handling from Financial Institution customers
- Liaise and interact with international working partners
- Provide troubleshooting solutions for internal and external customers on financial products and services
- Process, research and resolve routine to moderately complex transaction issues
- Account maintenance, report generation, project work
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ months of operations support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Open to fresh graduates with a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
- Banking, financial services, customer service, or operations experience is an advantage.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in banking operations, payments, settlements, or wire processing.
- Knowledge of SWIFT, FED Wire, CHIPS, and Telex payment systems.
- Familiarity with payment investigations, transaction inquiries, and exception processing
Job Expectations:
- Amenable to a permanent night shift schedule (12:00 AM to 9:00 AM).
- Willing to work onsite at Five/Neo Building, 31st Street, BGC, Taguig City.
- Hybrid work arrangement may be available based on business needs and completion of required training.
