Vanity Fair seeks a motivated associate newsletter producer to shepherd and build all the brand’s newsletters. The ideal candidate is digitally savvy, detail-oriented, and a great communicator who is able to juggle changes from editors, the photo team, and research. Prior experience with Sailthru is a major plus, as is experience writing newsletter copy. This role reports to the Editorial Operations Manager and works closely with our Audience Development team. This role is based in NYC with in-office days set as Monday–Thursday, with Fridays remote.
Primary Responsibilities:

Produce HWD Daily and Cocktail Hour newsletters daily, plus Royal Watch, True Colors, Hive, and weekend personalized newsletters throughout the week, as well as any new newsletter offerings.

Select stories, write copy, and produce the biweekly Cocktail Hour Archive newsletter.

Build “specialized” newsletters for feature stories, tentpoles, and covers as needed.

Attend biweekly meetings with the central newsletter team and troubleshoot template issues directly with them.

Collaborate with the Audience Development team on all newsletters—whether optimizing daily sends, A/B testing, etc.—and keep all documentation up-to-date.

Learn the basic functions of our CMS, Copilot, and build the True Colors column weekly as part of the newsletter send.
Requirements:

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in digital media, and familiarity with newsletters

A self-starting team player, detail-oriented, efficient, organized, and able to problem-solve and multitask

Displays excellent written and verbal communication skills—and tech savviness

A passion for Vanity Fair’s content

This is a guild position.
The expected base salary range for this position is from $67,500-$72,000.
