JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities:

Advise Editorial Team on story opportunities/trending items on social media

Be the eyes and ears of Astro Awani on social media platforms.

Promote Awani content

Devise strategies to draw social media users to Awani web and TV platforms.

Create exclusive content by merging social media elements with Awani content

Harvest user-generated content for editorial needs – polls, opinions, discussions, photos & videos.

Promote Awani brand by maintaining engaging public profile

Engage social media users to keep them coming back for more Awani content.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a Degree in any related field of studies. 
• Fluent spoken and written skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. 
• Good scripting skills and writing flair. 
• Good visual flair in presenting stories 
• Willingness to learn on the job. 
• Familiarity with technology and ability to pickup technical skills quickly. 
• Good knowledge of latest TV and web broadcast technology. 
• Meticulous and methodical as well as a good team player.
