Job Title: Technical Manager - System Engineering & Automation (ARP-4754, DO-178B/C)

What You Will Do:
• Converts product requirements into total system solutions, leads trade studies, and implements common work practices.
• Executes objectives for requirements management, reliability, logistics, coordination of different teams, evaluation measurements, and other disciplines for large or complex projects.
• Provides analysis for the decomposition of customer specifications and system level requirements into sub-system and piece part requirements, and makes recommendations for the generation of verification criteria and plans for the requirements.
• Supports product design reviews - SRR,PDR, CDR, TRR, etc. and RRCAs.
• Supports in achieving compliance of the products and processes to aerospace standards like ARP 4754, ARP 4761, DO-160G, DO-178C, certifications, etc.
• Implements digital engineering practices for systems engineering discipline - MBSE, Digital twins, Automation, etc.
• Coordinate and facilitate the product development and evaluation ensuring work is completed on time and established quality and budgets are achieved.
• Supports system certification process and activities by preparing the required artifacts and ensuring their compliance with the regulatory standards of FAA, EASA, etc.
• Lead and mentor small teams (6–9 engineers), providing technical guidance, reviewing deliverables, and fostering professional growth.
• Propose new ideas for automation, process and efficiency improvement
• Participate and supports competency development plan.
• Support re-use of Engg. Tools from organization tools repository.
• Support to improve and sustain Process maturity for applicable CORE processes.
• Support technology projects relevant to the domain of expertise.
• Participate in process innovations (e.g. LEAN events and proposals)
• Coaching and Mentoring
• Coach and review the work of lower level professionals

 

 

What You Will Learn:
• Work on high-integrity aircraft systems including GCU, BPCU and SPDA product lines.
• Gain leadership experience in DO-4754 .
• Hands-on exposure to advanced verification methodologies for system engineeringand simulation/testing approaches.
• Opportunities to contribute for the automation for SDLC and System Engineering activities.

 

Qualifications You Must Have:

• BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech degree in Electronics engineering or equivalent.
Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with at least 8 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience in end-to-end aircraft/aerospace product development - Requirements, Architecture, Design, Integration and Verification as a systems lead.
• Experience in aircraft system architecture and functionalities
• Good knowledge of HW design, testing, qualification, certification and manufacturing processes of aircraft/aerospace systems.
• Proficiency and work experience with aircraft data buses and communication protocols – ARINC 429,TTP,  Ethernet, CAN, etc.
• Experience with working on tools like Synergy, SVN,DOORS, JIRA, Polarion, TeamCentre.
• Proficiency and experience in Model based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is added advantge.
