Where You’ll Make a Difference
Support and contribute to the development of sustainability strategies by providing sustainability‑related data, insights, and operational assistance to the procurement teams.
Coordinate and drive the execution of IFF’s supplier sustainability engagement program within defined regions or categories, including data collection and coordination of initiatives with suppliers.
Contribute to IFF’s compliance efforts related to current and upcoming sustainability legislation impacting supply chains.
Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers in Asia on sustainability related topics.
Conduct desktop assessments on supplier sustainability performance using internal tools and external platforms.
Support and conduct supplier visits to validate sustainability practices and identify areas for improvement.
Respond to ad hoc supplier enquiries related to sustainability requirements, standards, and expectations.
Provide guidance to suppliers on corrective actions, continuous improvement, and alignment with IFF’s sustainability objectives.
Oversee sustainability related data sets, including traceability information, risk assessment results, and supplier action plan trackers.
What Makes You the Right Fit
Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Environmental Science, Agronomy, Engineering, or any other relevant discipline.
Minimum 7 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Sustainability or Supplier Management roles.
Exposure to sustainable sourcing, supplier assessments, traceability, or sustainability programs is strongly preferred.
Experience supporting category managers or cross functional teams in an operational or analytical capacity.
Experience with data collection and management tools; ability to work comfortably with datasets (Excel proficiency required).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to transform data into insights.
Good stakeholder engagement and communication skills (written and verbal fluency in English required) for interacting with suppliers and internal stakeholders across functions and cultures.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured way.
Proactive, curious, and comfortable learning about new sustainability requirements and industry best practices.
How Would You Stand Out?
Experience working with suppliers in Asia (India, SE Asia, China) is an advantage.
Experience with Power BI or similar tools is a plus.
Additional Asian languages (Hindi, Mandarin, Bahasa, etc.) are considered a plus.
