Associate Manager, Risk Operations

Locations: Chicago | NYC | Florida | Hybrid

About the Role

SS&C, through our partnership with Lighthouse Investment Partners, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Manager of Risk Operations to join our team. This position supports the client’s alternative investment platform with a focus on macro strategies.  This role is flexible to be based in either the client’s Chicago, IL, Palm Beach Gardens, FL or New York, NY office and will report directly to the Head of Risk and Senior Manager Risk Operations.  This role is ideal for candidates with strong analytical skills and a passion for financial data who are looking to grow within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

How You Will Make an Impact 

  • Assist in maintaining and enhancing investment data systems and databases;
  • Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency;
  • Support the development of dashboards and reporting tools for portfolio analysis;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to conduct research and generate insights for investment strategies;
  • Help prepare data-driven materials for internal and external presentations;
  • Take ownership of ad hoc data projects and deliver results in a timely manner;
  • Stay current with financial markets and data trends to support investment decisions.

Required Experience

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in risk analysis, financial data, or investment operations
  • Experience working with investment risk analytics platforms such as MSCI RiskMetrics, Bloomberg MARS, or similar tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field

Actual base salary will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, prior experience, education, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.

New York: The expected base salary for the position is between $60,000 USD to $130,000 USD. Illinois: The expected base salary for the position is between $80,000 USD to $125,000 USD.

In addition, employees in this role may be eligible for consideration on an annual basis for a discretionary bonus and/or equity awards, such as restricted stock units or stock options, based upon individual and business performance at the company’s discretion.
