Job Description
This role will join a team of marketers responsible for delivering and completing marketing campaigns within our market, driving traffic and conversion for our LEGO® branded stores, LEGO.com, and retail partners. We deliver the ultimate brand experience for consumers through media channels, in person at events and in-store. In addition, we partner with the Brand Teams across the rest of the Americas region and LEGO Group, to harness local activity and ensure strong collaboration across the business.
Core Responsibilities
Develop and handle strategic PR programs, brand events, PR programs, and partnerships for Canada, working closely with Brand Managers
Complete brand activations on-site across the country, while crafting an outstanding brand experience for kids and families
Lead the management of content creators and social influencers for LEGO Canada
Balance traditional and digital media channels, creating new PR opportunities locally
Guide the Canadian Brand partners through brand relations and PR initiatives
Directly manage external relationships including PR agency, event agency, licensee partners
Support the execution of owned, earned, shared and paid (OESP) channels, acting as a key point of contact for marketing transformation
Do your part in our team succeeding
Leading the CA BU through PR channels and working with Brand & Trade teams to identify experiential opportunities to bring the plans to life. Develop strategy to Identify impactful partnerships to help achieve the goals of the Canadian business unit.
Do you have what it takes?
Equivalent work experience. Proven experience 6-8+ years in consumer product PR and/or events marketing or related
Consistent track record in marketing development and activation to drive demand, with examples provided. Experience/track record briefing and evaluating creative solutions
Agency experience and/or agency leadership skills. Highly detailed oriented with the ambition to create world-class activations.
Exhibits outstanding eye for business, negotiation skills, team orientation, leadership, strong communication skills and analytical capabilities
Experienced in planning, with strong organizational and execution abilities. Self-motivated, with an ability to collaborate, while growing in a team setting
Excellent teammate: Able to work independently, collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Relocation
There is no relocation budget for this role.
