Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)
- Execute and optimize paid media campaigns across key acquisition channels to efficiently grow memberships, email audiences, direct products, and brand licensing initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance against acquisition goals, identifying trends and opportunities to improve efficiency, scale, and return on investment.
- Manage day-to-day campaign setup, pacing, budgets, targeting, creative rotation, and ongoing optimizations with close attention to detail.
- Translate performance data into actionable insights and recommendations that inform campaign strategy and future investment decisions.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across consumer marketing, editorial, creative, analytics, and other teams to support business priorities and campaign goals.
- Test and evaluate audiences, creative, messaging, placements, and other campaign variables to identify opportunities for incremental growth.
- Maintain accurate reporting and campaign documentation while helping communicate results, learnings, and next steps to key stakeholders.
- Stay current on paid media trends, platform capabilities, measurement approaches, and emerging opportunities that can strengthen Hearst Magazines’ acquisition strategy.
Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)
- 2+ years of experience in performance marketing, paid media, growth marketing, digital acquisition, or a related area.
- Hands-on experience executing and optimizing paid media campaigns, with an understanding of key performance metrics and acquisition economics.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with campaign data to identify trends, diagnose performance, and recommend next steps.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, priorities, budgets, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and translate data into clear, actionable insights.
- A curious, test-and-learn mindset and enthusiasm for identifying new ways to improve marketing performance.
- Experience with consumer subscription, membership, e-commerce, email acquisition, or other direct-to-consumer businesses is preferred.
- This role is based in New York City and requires working in the office four days per week.

The base salary range for this role is $66,300-$70,000. This position is not eligible for bonus or commission compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
