Job Purpose: This position will be responsible for facilitating seamless operational coordination, stakeholder collaboration, and strategy implementation to ensure efficient shipping and logistics activities at the port
ResponsibilitiesPort and Shipping Support Executive
Operational Coordination
- Track vessel movements to ensure timely loading and unloading of coal
- Prepare and maintain shipping and logistics documentation to facilitate efficient record-keeping
- Support the Port In-charge – Logistics in overseeing shipping and logistics activities at the port
- Coordinate with vessel agents, port authorities, and transportation providers for smooth operations
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with vessel agents, port authorities, and transportation providers to optimize operational coordination
- Assist in managing relationships with key stakeholders for effective shipping and logistics support
Strategy Implementation Support
- Assist the Port In-charge – Logistics in implementing and executing strategies and plans to reduce shipping delays, control vessel-related charges, and handle contract management
- Provide support in executing plans to optimize shipping and logistics activities
- Collaborate with the Port In-charge – Logistics to implement strategies developed by the Logistics Head and Cluster In-charge
Digitisation and Automation
- Support comprehensive digitization strategies to optimize operational efficiency
Innovate and implement automation solutions to support overall organizational goals/strategy
