What You’ll Do

In this role, you will support end-to-end logistics with a focus on import and export operations to optimize and align with SSI business goals. This position is responsible for executing strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels across the supply chain. The associate manager will focus on leveraging best practices, process improvements, and technology adoption to drive growth, while collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless and cost-effective logistics, inventory management, and transportation solutions.

  • Process and interpret high-volume data from multiple sources like SAP, SharePoint, Excel, and Tableau etc.
  • Provide visibility and analysis to the management team on logistic operation, service performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish/maintain supply chain/logistics scorecard and take initiatives to improve business process, supply chain security and efficiency.
  • Support daily logistics operations (tracking, transportation, following up on shipment discrepancies for lost/damaged/delayed/misdelivered).
  • Assist on vendor QBRs, KPI monitoring, and performance evaluation.
  • Monitor incident reports for shipment exceptions and take corrective actions.
  • Assist customs compliance (C-TPAT, ISA, Customs regulations, HTS codes maintenance).

What You Bring

  • Bachelors with 5+ years of relevant industry experience, or Masters with 3+ years or PhD with 0 years in Logistics Management, Transportation, and Import/Export clearance or related field preferred.
  • Familiar with import & export clearance, Incoterms, and classification.
  • Exercise independent judgment, critical reasoning skills, and excellent communication skills.
  • Follow-up skills, proactive, detail-oriented, and well-organized.
  • Assertive, self-motivated, goal and result driven.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Tableau (or other visualization tools)
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with all levels of management and staff.
  • Must be willing to collaborate with internal/external other teams (credit, sales, vendors, inventory, legal).
  • Must be willing to support sales with month end shipping inquiries and be available to support team off hours.
  • You're inclusive, adapting your style to the situation and diverse global norms of our people.

Base Pay Range
$113,600$170,400 USD
