You Will Be Responsible For:

• 10+ years of proven systems development experience using structured.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex engineering projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, quality assurance, and operations.
• Drive innovation by researching and applying new technologies and methodologies.
• Ensure engineering solutions meet business requirements and comply with industry standards.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and architectural discussions.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to the development of engineering best practices and standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and team productivity.

• Ability to pivot to new technologies as they become available. Keep pace with a constantly changing environment.
• Collaborate with users/stakeholders to translate business problems into technical requirements.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity (e.g. imperfect data, loosely defined concepts, ideas, or goals) and translating these into more tangible outputs.

• Self-motivated. Capable of working with little or no supervision; but must be a good team player.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Enjoy challenging and thought-provoking work
• Have a strong desire and curiosity to learn and progress
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and requests
• Structured, disciplined approach to work, with attention to detail

Specific Technical Skills Required:

Software Developer

• At lest 10+ yrs of experience with Java, AWS, SQL,  Snowflake, Distributed architecture, Springboot, Linux
• At least 3+yr of experience on AWS
• Experience in Agile methodologies and related methods (e.g. Scrum, Kanban etc..,)
• Experience in Design/Architect Enterprise Applications
• Integrating Heterogenous/Distributed Applications
• Experience with continuous integration
• Securities industry knowledge -- ETF a big plus
• Trading systems like Charles River, Aladdin
• Batch control applications such as AutoSys, UAC
• Any experience in React and API development is added advantage
• Keep up with the latest technology trends and design patterns
• Certification in AWS or JAVA is a big plus

Functional Area Required Skills/Experience/Knowledge:

ETFs

• Asset management industry experience is a huge plus.
• Know how of ETFs

Language

• Proficiency in verbal and written English is required

Formal Education:  (minimum requirement to perform job duties)A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems \ Computer Science is preferred or commensurate relevant work experience
