Position Description:

  • Must be HR partner of choice for employees
  • Serves as a business partner & consultant to line managers & team members on Human Resource related issues. Provide advice, support and guidance on the implementation and interpretation of HR policies, HR actions, HR related business work, interactions & statutory procedures. Ensure HR policies procedures and practices follow & are compliant with QIAGEN and legal requirements.
  • Provide operational excellence on a variety of HR activities which includes employee relations, engagement, recruiting, C&B, onboarding, performance management, employee development, retention, company policies and change management. 
  • Support organizational change ensuring the appropriate systems of performance and development, communication, monitoring and review are in place.
  • Assess the need for talent in relation to the current and future business, including the need for specific competencies, knowledge and skills and experience and work in making progress on development and performance.
  • Work with the Training and Development team, develop, promote and implement the full range of workforce, succession planning and talent management strategies that will support the delivery of business requirements.
  • Ensures efficient administration of HR Office & management contributing to prompt and accurate processing and implementation of employee life-cycle HR services including on-boarding, leave management, payroll, and benefits administration
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment activities including, posting ads, screening candidates, preparing compensation and benefits package, and complete the hiring process
  • Handles leave admin matters, processing of leave transactions, queries, reporting and provision of payroll instructions
  • Administer employee health and insurance benefits and assist in its annual review and renewal
  • Manage end-to-end Onboarding of new hires and Off boarding of departing employees on time every time.
  • Develop and implement local employee engagement initiatives
  • Management of payroll and related accounting entries
  • Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
  • Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records in prescribed format
  • Be prompt, lead by example in behavior, rigor, empathy, commitment, ownership, passion and trust

Position Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Science background in school/graduation, is preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive experience as a HR Generalist/Manager
  • Experience in biotech / pharmaceutical/Healthcare & leading business corporations is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly motivating and dynamic environment, with the ability to multi-task, prioritizes, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication, business acumen, relationship building, consultative and influencing skills
  • Solid MS office experience is a must with required relevant data management skills . Advanced Excel skills are highly preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of India employment and labour laws.
  • Strong accountability and prioritization.
