We are seeking a creative and analytical Associate Manager, Growth Marketing to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with an interest in performance marketing, digital media, and data-driven decision making who is eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced environment.
The Associate Manager will support the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns that drive subscription, lead generation, & commerce growth across multiple Hearst brands, including Runner’s World, Women’s Health, and Men’s Health. This includes supporting paid media campaigns, testing acquisition strategies, analyzing performance and partnering cross-functionally to identify opportunities to grow audiences and revenue.

Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)
- Support the planning and execution of growth marketing initiatives aligned with brand and business objectives.
- Execute and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns, including paid media, to drive subscription, email acquisition, and ecommerce growth.
- Coordinate creative development and testing with Editorial and Creative teams to improve campaign performance and audience engagement.
- Monitor campaign performance and recommend optimizations to improve CPA, CPC, and other key acquisition metrics.
- Develop reports and analyze campaign data to uncover trends, insights, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support go-to-market planning for key business initiatives through audience strategy, channel planning, and testing recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Editorial, Membership, Design, and Analytics to execute marketing initiatives and achieve business goals.
- Explore and leverage AI-powered tools to enhance campaign planning, creative testing, reporting, and marketing workflows while identifying new opportunities to scale growth.
Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)
- 1+ years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, paid media, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of paid media and customer acquisition across platforms such as Meta and Google.
- Ability to interpret performance data and use insights to optimize marketing campaigns.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships.
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn new marketing strategies, technologies, and AI-powered tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- This role is based in New York and follows a hybrid work schedule.

The base salary for this role is $66,300–$70,000. This position is not eligible for bonus or commission compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
