Job Title: Associate Manager – Fund Accounting

Locations: Hyderabad or Mumbai | Hybrid

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

• 5+ years of relevant experience in fund accounting, preferably in real estate, private equity, or alternative investments.

• Strong understanding of real estate fund structures (open-end, closed-end, REITs, joint ventures).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Yardi or similar systems preferred.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

What You Will Get To Do:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for real estate funds in accordance with US GAAP/IFRS and fund-specific requirements.

• Perform NAV (Net Asset Value) calculations, allocations, and reconciliations.

• Maintain general ledger and sub-ledgers for real estate investment entities.

• Reconcile bank accounts, investment transactions, and intercompany balances.

• Support year-end audit processes, including preparing audit work papers and liaising with external auditors.

• Assist in processing capital calls, distributions, management fees, and carried interest in accordance with LPAs and investor reporting statements.

• Assist in the preparation of audit packs and act as a key liaison with external auditors.

• Coordinate with property managers, asset managers, and valuation teams for property-level financial data.

• Track investment performance and prepare portfolio-level reporting.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and client-specific SLAs.

• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and automation projects.
