About the job:
We are seeking a commercially minded, analytical, and highly collaborative Finance Business Partner to join our team in Singapore, with a focus on the Joint Replacement and Trauma Team. In this role, you will act as the strategic bridge between the Finance function and local business operations. You will work hand-in-hand with Commercial and Marketing stakeholders to provide key insights on financial information, to help optimize revenue and profitability. Collaboration across other functions such as Operations, Compliance and Legal, as well as and the broader Finance Team will be key to help deliver on positive commercial outcomes while ensuring financial governance. This is an individual contributor reporting to the Senior Finance Manager for Singapore, Malaysia & Exports.
What you will be doing:
Business Partnering
- Lead the financial planning of the Singapore Joint Replacement and Trauma Businesses by analyzing its performance and risks. Rationalize and provide clear explanations to Management and stakeholders on the drivers of fluctuations in the numbers.
- Lead the financial review with business and functional leaders, adding quality insight into business performance and identify potential risks or areas of opportunity.
- Partner with the commercial leaders and various stakeholders to support the growth in the business, including, supporting the development of go-to-market planning and strategies.
- Perform ad-hoc financial modelling / analysis as per business needs.
Financial Reporting
- Manage Financial Planning & Reporting Process, including Weekly Forecast, Month End Closings, Projections, Budget and Strategic Planning.
- Develop and prepare key management reports including sales analysis; Monthly Management packs; P&L; expenses tracking, Cashflow etc.
- Sales Operation support (e.g. Pricing, Sales performance tracking).
- Participate in business process optimization project as required.
- Streamline internal financial reporting processes, including the use of Business Intelligence tools (e.g. PowerBI). Improve on existing templates to drive efficiency and efficacy in financial modelling.
Who are we looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ Years of Experience in Finance or relevant fields (3+ Years in FP&A / CPA Certification preferred).
- Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills and ability to manage large volumes of data and also the usage of consolidation tools (e.g. Hyperion Financial Management).
- Familiarity with ERP Systems (e.g. SAP / JDE), data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and digital tools (e.g., Copilot, automation tools) are preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to breakdown complex financial concepts and information, communicating it to stakeholders to support decision making.
- Experience in collaborating on optimization processes with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong advocate of continuous improvement and automation. Willingness to change the status quo where appropriate.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver under tight timelines
Skills Required
