Stryker is hiring an Associate Manager, Engineering for a dynamic, onsite people leadership role based in Mahwah, New Jersey.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of mechanical, electrical, software and project engineers on the planning and execution of equipment installation, sustainability, and process improvement projects.

  • Provide strategic direction to an engineering team to meet their daily performance goals & milestones.

  • Lead and drive PMO activities & Project Management practices & standardization in the Stryker Mahwah facility, NJ.

  • Ensure a consistently high level of quality and compliance to applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Engage in problem solving in complex situations and process improvements in streamlining work processes.

  • Manage the performance of team members including writing and delivering performance appraisals and taking disciplinary actions when warranted.

  • Conduct interviews, hire, and onboard employees.

  • Provide developmental opportunities & guidance for direct reports and ensure proper training and development plans are set for the team.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering - required (Mechanical, Electric or Manufacturing preferred)

  • 6+ years related work experience – required

  • Experience in a CNC environment - required

  • 1+ years management experience – preferred

  • Automation vendor experience - (Scheffler, Modular, Felsomat)

  • Manufacturing experience in medical device or regulated industries – preferred

  • Previous experience managing manufacturing capital budgets and cost reduction strategies – preferred

  • PMP certification – Preferred

  


$123,100 - $205,200 USD Annual
