Associate Manager - Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist , you will have the opportunity to manipulate large data sets, integrate diverse data sources, data types and data structures into solutions under management guidance. You will build experience developing analytical approaches to meet business requirements, which involves translating requests into use cases, test cases, preparation of training data sets and iterative algorithm development.

What you’ll do

• Contribute to the design and execution of Custom Models, Validation of existing Scores and Insight generation.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret results, understand requirements and provide actionable insights.

• Analyze complex data sets related to Consumer banking on Google Cloud Platform(GCP) using Python,PySprak and Bigquery.

• Develop models using advanced Machine Learning algorithms, ensuring accuracy, stability and explainability in predicting key outcomes.

• Demonstrated expertise in AI techniques (Machine learning, Deep learning) and their applications. Experience with ML libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or equivalent is recommended.

• Develop and implement strategies to identify, quantify additional lift from various scores.

What experience you need

• Understanding of key business and risk KPIs for retail banking products.

• Overall 5-8 years of experience in data science is mandatory, 4+ years’ experience in handling BFSI analytics/developing Models/validation/ implementing models/.

• Credit risk model development experience is a must.

• Python and SQL coding experience is a must have technical skill.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in supervising projects and team members, demonstrating ability to successfully manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously

• Strong knowledge of Statistical methods, Machine learning techniques including Ensemble techniques, Deep learning.

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines related to model risk management is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking

• High energy levels and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across multiple geographies and levels of the organization

• Opportunity to use cutting-edge statistical/modeling tools across literally hundreds of data assets.

• Regulatory modeling development experience is good to have (ECL, Stress testing & IFRS9).

• First hand experience on cloud based platforms including GCP & AWS

• Master’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics or other related discipline a definite plus
