North America, our largest region and heartland of Dove, represents a significant business, equally divided across Dove Bar and Dove Body Wash. This role is part of the Personal Care CMI team, working on innovation, engagement, equity and brand design for the Dove Skin Cleansing brand in North America.  This role reports to the Associate Director of Dove Skin Cleansing NA. 

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

The Dove CMI Skin Cleansing Associate Manager partners with the Dove innovation and engagement team based in the US, closely supporting the Dove Core and Premium managers, associates and directors.  In a more focused skin cleansing vertical, this role also partners closely with Demand Generation CMI and Performance CMI in skin cleansing. 

  • Partner with stakeholders to align all research projects to the strategic priorities of the NA Dove Skin Cleansing team and communicate actionable insights shaping innovation and all consumer-facing communication.   
  • Translate internal briefs and questions into analytical qualitative and quantitative projects, including refining the initial ask and asking the ‘right questions,’ working through potential hypotheses to leverage the right methods for key crafting development, optimization and decisions. 
  • Independently lead a range of crafting methods including qualitative, quantitative, social listening and agile methods, plus weaving brand equity, panel and point of sale data to paint a full picture for insights inspiration of innovation, communication and strategy development.
  • Help develop insights to drive short- and long-term strategies that help Dove achieve business goals and contribute to the brand’s ambitious growth plan
  • Leverage analysis and understanding of growing Dove’s brand equity and how it can lead to competitive growth
  • Blend relevant macro and category trends, cultural and human trends together with social trends to inspire innovation development that create growth specifically for North America.
  • Utilize foundational strategic understanding such as category growth drivers, early signals, H&A for North America to ensure innovation plans align with the future of the category
  • Work closely with the rest of PC CMI and both design and deploy Marketing to create the social transformation for Dove Skin Cleansing in North America
  • Drive greater consumer connectivity and ‘deep, rich, emotional’ insights work to inspire stronger consumer engagement through innovation and marketing activities
  • Support engaging programs that build the “consumer gut” of marketing teams
  • Develop strong relationships across design marketing, R&D, CTI, creative agency, MMC, deploy/engagement marketing and performance in order to truly put the consumer voice at the heart of everything Dove does

  • You are fully operational in consumer and market insights with both qual and quant, primary, syndicated, including agile innovation, digital marketing and media. 
  • Effective storyteller and dot connector - excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including storytelling in a corporate context, and crafting clear, compelling messages 
  • Relevant years of experience in CMI/consumer research including in the US.  Undergraduate degree required.
  • Demonstrated high performance, 5+ years of experience in a role and providing insights and recommendations based on analysis.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $86,080 to $129,120. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
