Position Overview

Dermalogica is seeking a highly organized, relationship-driven Associate Manager, Brand Partnerships and Events to support the planning, execution, and ongoing management of influencer marketing, professional KOL partnerships, talent relationships, activations, experiential events, and strategic brand initiatives across both Dermalogica and Dermalogica PRO.

Reporting to the Director of Brand Partnerships and PR, this role will serve as a key contributor in helping bring integrated marketing programs to life while supporting cross-functional initiatives, partnership development, and business growth opportunities. The ideal candidate is an exceptional project manager and relationship builder with a passion for skincare, beauty, wellness, professional education, and community building.

This role will work closely with internal teams, agency partners, creators, professional skin therapists, KOLs, talent representatives, educators, media and industry stakeholders to deliver programs that drive awareness, credibility, engagement, and business impact.

Key Responsibilities

Professional KOL and Partnership Development

  • Support the development and execution of Dermalogica's professional KOL, expert, and partnership strategy
  • Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with dermatologists, nurses, estheticians, skin therapists, educators, and other professional experts
  • Help cultivate partnerships within the professional skincare community to strengthen brand credibility, advocacy, and industry leadership
  • Support professional events, educational initiatives, expert programs, and community-building opportunities
  • Maintain ongoing communication and relationship management with professional partners and key opinion leaders

Influencer and Talent Partnerships

  • Source, vet, and recommend creators, influencers, talent, and subject matter experts aligned to campaign objectives
  • Manage outreach, contracting, onboarding, and relationship management
  • Coordinate product seeding, gifting, content creation, and campaign logistics
  • Develop and distribute creative briefs and partnership materials
  • Manage content review and approval processes
  • Track deliverables and ensure all partnership obligations are fulfilled
  • Support reporting efforts including EMV, engagement, reach, content performance, and campaign recaps

Events and Experiential Marketing

  • Support the planning and execution of influencer, professional, consumer, and retail partner events
  • Manage timelines, budgets, production schedules, and event logistics
  • Coordinate talent attendance, travel, hospitality, and onsite experiences
  • Develop run-of-show documents, briefing materials, and stakeholder communications
  • Partner with agencies, vendors, venues, and internal stakeholders to ensure flawless execution
  • Support onsite event management and post-event reporting

Talent Relations and Brand Partnerships

  • Support talent activations and events and strategic partnerships
  • Assist in identifying and developing new opportunities that enhance brand visibility and cultural relevance
  • Coordinate seeding, gifting, partnership logistics, and stakeholder communications
  • Collaborate with agency partners to execute integrated programs and campaigns

Special Projects and Cross-Functional Initiatives

  • Support strategic initiatives across marketing, education, professional channels, partnerships, and executive leadership teams
  • Assist with emerging opportunities, pilot programs, industry partnerships, and special projects
  • Contribute to process improvements, team efficiencies, and operational best practices
  • Help drive projects from concept through execution while ensuring alignment across stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5+ years of experience in influencer marketing, talent partnerships, events, professional education, brand partnerships, or related fields
  • Strong interest in building relationships within both the creator economy and professional skincare community
  • Experience managing external partners, agencies, talent, or KOL relationships
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and relationship-building capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Beauty, skincare, wellness, healthcare, aesthetics, or consumer brand experience strongly preferred
  • Passion for community building, partnership development, education, and brand storytelling

Compensation and Benefits

The expected base hourly pay rate range is $32 to $36 per hour. The exact base pay rate is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, and budget. This role is eligible for participation in our company bonus plan, rewarding personal performance and company results.
