Job Description
We are AI Services. We focus on the enablement of the AI teams by providing software delivery, observability, deployments and platform engineering solutions. In the past year, we've adapted and migrated a large portion of the Machine Learning services to Kubernetes; we've rolled out a new fleet of H100s, enabled US Federal customers to use GenAI and deployed a new translation service! We're in the business of enablement and we're proud of our impact.
You are an enabler and you lead with empathy. The products and services that you build accelerate researchers & developers as they are delivering the next generation of AI solutions to the enterprise. Your curiosity, interest and knowledge in all things infrastructure, Kubernetes, observability, automation provide you with an opportunity to build solutions for deploying and operating LLM-based solutions at global scale.

What you'll be doing:
- Design Helm charts and code to drive the global deployments of next-generation AI solutions at ServiceNow
- Build supercharged operational tooling to enable smooth operations of AI workloads
- Participate in data collection, creating benchmarks, etc.
- Develop innovative patentable ideas that ensure the competitiveness of this product within the domain of similar work being done in the industry.
- Advance the natural language capabilities of the ServiceNow platform.
- Write, test, and debug high quality code using Python
- Implement web interfaces using JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular and CSS
- Bring intelligence to customer workflows by leveraging their individual data.
- Structured data (workflow state evolution, database tables).
- Unstructured data (utterances, descriptions, documents).
Qualifications
- Current student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, and graduating no earlier than December 2025
- Possess a basic understanding of Machine learning/Deep learning theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
- Has solid practical experience to systematically approach, design, and build a machine learning/deep learning solution, evaluate it, and productionize it.
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills
- Has experience in Python, JavaScript, and operating systems (ie Linux)
- Has experience with Kubernetes and Docker, deployments to distributed systems, and integrating REST API
- Has high levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities
- Has demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications, is a plus
- Has experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP)/Natural Language Understanding (NLU) based solutions, is a plus

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $55.18/hour, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
