Overall Mission
The Associate Logistics Coordinator is responsible for organizing domestic and international shipments in line with temperature control requirements and the Group QA & EHS policies. This role will be accountable for the most appropriate transport solution in accordance with the CRYOPDP premium service offer and the customer's requirements; route, sustainable mode of transport (air, train, road, multimodal), transit time and cost.
Main Contribution
To provide operational excellence
- Coordinate all activities related to picking up cargo from any point in the USA and delivery to the ports of export, request bookings with airlines, AES filing, export documentation (commercial Invoices, etc.); with assistance from manager as required
- Utilize in-house systems to produce shipping documentation
- Domestic Coordination routing of all shipments and sending pre-alerts to LSP’s in a timely manner
- Coordinate routing of all outbound export shipments, prepare import/export documents in compliance with all agencies and send pre-alerts to destination offices and agents in a timely manner
- Operational housekeeping to ensure the shipping file is updated accordingly including, but not limited to, Post Flights, PODs, upload relevant documents into E-docs in CargoWise and invoicing/billing
- Monitor shipment progress and update milestones in CargoWise.
- Liaise with CRYOPDP vendors for updates, cost, routing options, etc.
- TCP and TCV recognition and management with the assistance of Senior Logistics Coordinator and/or Manager.
- Communicate daily with warehouse staff to provide packaging and related services
Ensure the growth of retained customers to maximize/increase the amount of business carried for every customer
- Receive all queries and complaints from customers and suppliers and escalate them to the Senior Logistics Coordinator or Manager to ensure they are investigated and responded to promptly
- Showcase unique service features of CRYOPDP to increase value-added solutions to customers
- Increase dependency for customers to ensure CRYOPDP is the sole provider they use across all modes

- On-time, In-full service performance %
- Number of temperature deviations
- Number of airline and customs delays
- Number of CAPAs (Corrective Action Preventive Action)
- Internal stakeholder's and customers feedback
Specificity on the job
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9 AM - 5:30 PM.
- Due to the nature of our 24/7 operation, you will be required to assist with occasional out-of-hours coverage
- Start times could vary. Work hours and shifts are subject to change, depending on operating business conditions and needs
- Employee may be required to work overtime, holidays, or weekends
- Must be available at all times during scheduled hours to respond to emergencies as a first responder
Experience and Educational requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years of experience in the Air Freight sector with knowledge of the air industry
- A strong understanding of cold chain logistics and temperature-controlled solutions preferred
- Experience working within the Pharma or Healthcare industry preferred
Specific Experience & Knowledge Required
- Compliant with GDP, HMRC, MHRA, IATA, and CAA guidelines.
- Knowledge of dangerous goods regulations and passenger and cargo airlines
- Import / Export license and demonstrate experience with Controlled Drugs
- U.S. Customs regulations compliance
- Commercial acumen (customers/performance profitability)
- Experience with the Cargowise operation system

Compensation: up to $27.50 hr., commensurate with experience
