FINANCIAL SECURITY PROGRAM

The Aspen Institute Financial Security Program’s (Aspen FSP) mission is to illuminate and solve the most critical financial challenges facing American households and to make financial security for all a top national priority. We aim for nothing less than a more inclusive economy with reduced wealth inequality and shared prosperity. We believe that transformational change requires innovation, trust, leadership, and entrepreneurial thinking. ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Associate is a full-time position within the Lifelong Saving and Investing initiative at Aspen FSP. Through our Lifelong Saving and Investing initiative, we work to ensure that every person in America has the tools to build, protect, and leverage wealth across their entire lifecycle. Our work spans the lifecycle of financial security: from Early Wealth Building initiatives like Baby Bonds, 530A /"Trump Accounts," and 529s that provide children with a head start and young adults with capital; to strengthening Emergency Savings as a vital buffer against life’s volatility; and advancing Retirement Savings and Security to ensure long-term dignity and agency. By galvanizing a diverse network of policymakers, industry leaders, and researchers, we supply a wide range of leaders with the evidence-based insights and the networks they need to scale policy and market solutions that allow everyone in America to benefit from saving and investing in capital markets.

The Associate will report to the Senior Program Manager and will be a core member of the LSI team, working closely with the Director, Associate Director, and Senior Policy Advisor on the LSI team, and collaborating across the FSP team.
