We are looking for an Associate Legal Specialist (Legal Operations) to join our Legal team in Chicago, Illinois.
As the Associate Operations Specialist (Legal Operations), reporting to the VP & Chief Counsel, you will play a key role in shaping and supporting the development of our evolving Legal Operations function. This newly created position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to foundational initiatives that enhance efficiency, consistency, and process improvement across our legal operations.
What you'll do in this role:
Manage Legal Tracker for matter creation, vendor onboarding, budgeting, and invoice processing.
Coordinate with external legal service providers and vendors to ensure compliance with billing guidelines and deliver cost-effective services.
Assist with annual budget preparation and ongoing financial reporting for the Legal & Government Affairs function.
Build and maintain dashboards and tracking reports to monitor KPIs and support data-driven decision-making.
Aggregate and analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
Support implementation of new tools, processes, and workflows to enhance efficiency within the legal department.
Develop templates and internal guidelines to standardize practices and improve consistency.
Position Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent with 4+ years experience or Associate's degree with 2+ years experience in contracts administration, financial analysis, budgeting, or legal operations
Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Forms, Word, PowerPoint, and Power Automate; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or legal tech platforms such as Legal Tracker
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
You will typically be in the office Monday - Wednesday and remotely Thursdays and Fridays.

Compensation:
Pay Range:$59,000-$78,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
