Associate Legal Counsel (Transactional)

As our Associate Legal Counsel (Transactional), you'll be the person who ensures our business operations remain scalable, effective, and legally sound through expert negotiation and drafting.

Here's what your day-to-day will look like:

• Welfare Business Support – Drafting and negotiating complex agreements with employers for the supply of Satispay’s welfare services, including meal vouchers (buoni pasto), purchase vouchers (buoni acquisto), and flexible benefits.

• Strategic Partnerships – Managing the end-to-end legal lifecycle of partnerships with strategic players in the payment services industry.

• Public & Private Tenders – Providing legal support for the participation in public and private procurement processes (gare d'appalto), ensuring all legal requirements and documentation are met.

• Marketing & Advertising – Advising on and drafting contracts for marketing campaigns, advertising services, co-branding initiatives, and creative agency agreements.

• Contractual Lifecycle Management – Constantly updating and refining standard templates to reflect business needs and regulatory changes such as PSD2/PSD3 and consumer law.

We need a problem-solver who loves teamwork and gets things done. If you're curious and ready for real ownership, you'll fit in! Does this sound like you?

• Background – You are a qualified lawyer with a strong background in reputable law firms and at least 5 years of experience in commercial law, transactional matters, and complex contract negotiation.

• Tech & Fintech expertise – Familiarity with the Tech/Fintech ecosystem and the regulatory complexities of digital financial products. Previous in-house experience is a strong plus.

• Strategic and risk-based approach – Ability to take smart risks and align contractual requirements with business objectives.

• Negotiation Skills – You are a skilled negotiator, able to manage pressure and find win-win solutions in complex commercial discussions.

• Sound judgment – Confident in making decisions even in situations of ambiguity.

• Communication skills – Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders and simplify legal complexities for business teams.

• Language proficiency – Fluent in English and Italian.
