Job Description

As an Associate, you’ll be an integral part of our Birmingham team, driving business growth and contributing to high-profile projects. Our Birmingham planning team is one of four UK planning hubs—alongside Manchester, Leeds, and Bristol—forming part of Cushman & Wakefield’s 100-strong National Development and Strategic Advisory team. Joining our global, multi-disciplinary consultancy means you’ll gain access to market-leading insights, a wealth of resources, and the opportunity to collaborate with experts across multiple asset classes.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients, identifying and capitalising on business development opportunities.

• Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring efficient delivery and high-quality outcomes.

• Collaborate across Cushman & Wakefield’s business groups and international network to generate new instructions and pool expertise.

• Play a key role in implementing the business plan, supporting senior leadership, and representing the team in the market.

• Proactively identify new revenue opportunities and contribute to the growth of our integrated service offering.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in planning and development, ideally at Senior Surveyor or Associate level.

• Strong client relationship and business development skills.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

• Commercial awareness and the ability to identify new opportunities.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
