Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate IT Project Manager to support the delivery of infrastructure and systems projects across commercial and corporate environments in Hong Kong. This role is ideal for candidates with foundational project management experience who are ready to grow into a leadership role while supporting technical execution and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination & Technical Oversight
- Assist in managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables for IT infrastructure projects
- Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors
- Support technical compliance with client requirements and industry standards
- Review vendor proposals and assist in risk mitigation
- Maintain accurate documentation of project milestones and materials
- Pre-Sales Support
- Collaborate with sales and technical teams to scope IT project requirements
- Participate in client meetings and assist in presenting IT solutions
- Help prepare project estimates, schedules, and resource plans
- Contribute to bid documentation and technical write-ups
- Communication & Reporting
- Prepare project documentation using Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Provide regular updates and reports to the project team and management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in IT infrastructure project coordination or support
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PMI or Prince2
- Exposure to technical domains such as:
- Structured Cabling, Racks
- Data & Telephony Networks
- Server Room Design
- IT Security and Compliance
Language Requirements
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Cantonese proficiency preferred for local client engagement
